Amora

Amora brand in the Czech Republic is considered as a synonymum for dijon mustard as such.

The key factors of success are innovations together with keeping the traditional values of the brand with emphasis on the best quality ingredients and delicious flavour, which is much appreciated in the Czech market for many decades.

Amora brand was registered  by a famous mustard maker, whose  family was well known in France from 1703, in the town of  Dijon in 1919. However, he finally decided to use his historical name instead. That is why Amora as such was first  used  in 1934 when it was bought by a new owner. The brand became very successful and started producing apart from mustards some  spices, gherkins, olives etc.

In the 1950s Amora invested into advertising campaign with the aim to be visible everywhere.

In 1953 the reusable glass bottle was invented with a great success. Amora brand soon became a market leader in France and started to export its goods worldwide.

In the Czech market you can get original Amora Dijon mustard in jars of 150g, 440g and 915g.

Kikkoman

Kikkoman soy sauce has a fine, spicy aroma and is delicious with any type of food. The distinctive feature of Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce is its transparent reddish-brown colour and its unique flavour which takes around six months to develop.

A good quality soy sauce, like Kikkoman sauce, only lists a few natural ingredients: water, soybeans, wheat and salt.

Kikkoman never uses flavour enhancers, preservatives or colourings in the production of its naturally brewed sauces.

Kikkoman's history dates back to the 17th century in the Japanese city of Noda. The city's ideal location on the banks of the River Edo enabled convenient access to raw materials and prompt deliveries to the expanding city of Edo, which is today called Tokyo.

Kikkoman soon became famous for its naturally brewed soy sauce. Before long, the Dutch traders discovered this “black gold” and took it back to Europe. Kikkoman soon became firmly established in the European market, where it received significant awards in 1873 at Expo in Vienna and in 1881 at Expo in Amsterdam.

Today, Kikkoman is an international market player with a 6,500-strong workforce running operations in Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Australia, Canada, the USA and Europe.
