Emile Poult made his first biscuit in 1883 in Montauban. The company Poult Panier Tanguy was born out of the merger between Panier and Tanguy in the 1980s and then the merger with Poult in 2005. The company then evolved from a volume to an innovation driven company.

All Poult Panier Tanguy’s factories are ISO 9001:2000 and IFS 4 (higher level) certified. Poult Panier Tanguy’s quality team constantly oversees the relevance of improvements to the Quality System and HACCP systems to guarantee food safety and adherence to customer commitments.

This desire to continuously improve and to remain relevant has been further demonstrated through IFS certification since December 2003.

Poult Panier Tanguy made the choice to focus on Private Label early on to make the quality and the pleasure accessible to most people. The Poult group has a very significant market presence in 11 market biscuit and cookies segments and is a leader or co-leader in most segments.
